Through Hypnotism, Confidence and Self Esteem Can Be Improved

Hypnosis and hypnotism can be used to help to remove a lot of the negative beliefs you have about yourself, so that you can focus on the positive and begin to develop new and exciting beliefs, on the road to creating the new you.
Hypnotism is a way of moving to a deeply relaxed state where you are able to access your sub-conscious mind, where your innermost thoughts are stored. When you access your sub-conscious mind, you can replace the negative thought patterns you have stored there with positive ones through hypnotic suggestion. Whilst in a hypnotic state, all your barriers fall away and the deepest parts of your subconscious mind can be entered by the hypnotist. Any social anxieties or your natural instinct to avoid vulnerability fade away giving someone complete access to the real you.
Your subconscious mind is the best part of the brain to retrain because it is easier to shape and change through planting alternative hypnotic suggestion. When you are alert and awake you are instinctively going to oppress these suggestions even though you would naturally think that because you want to change the way you feel about yourself and your situation, you would be open to that change.
So through hypnotism, confidence in yourself and your situation will improve because it was always there anyway. You were born with confidence and generally it's just life experiences and "knocks" that lower our levels of confidence and self esteem. So through hypnotism, confidence can be restored.
If you think about it, society and life in general is all about addressing what's going wrong and highlighting when people are doing things wrong. We don't really talk or read about things going well. Just look at our newspapers or at the agenda at most departmental meetings in the workplace, or how a mother talks to her children. Seldom are they accentuating what's gone right and congratulating everyone for doing a good job. So from almost arriving in this world, we all tend to accentuate the negative, rather than the positive.
Through hypnotism, we can start to regain our confidence and self esteem, by reinforcing the positive things about ourselves and in our lives, and by helping us to erase all those negative messages you've had through life.
As a result of hypnotism, you will be more relaxed in every situation of your life, and you will have a more positive attitude toward life. The way you talk to yourself and think about yourself will be different. Instead of being filled with doubt and negative beliefs, you will be able to walk taller with a much greater confidence and improved attitude about yourself. Your self esteem will grow and you will be well on the path to creating the person you want to be.

Motivational Tips for 2014... (Part 4)

10. 64 Inspirational Quotes To Change Your Life

Quotes accompany me on a daily basis. Quite often short and to the point. Memorable. In this post over 60 of my LinkedIn friends share the quotes that have had the most impact on their lives along with quotes that they themselves have created. I trust you will enjoy them as much as I have.
Peter G. J. Sinclair CEO of Outasight Enterprises Pty Ltd – Those who TRY are not mediocre. They are champions. They will win. They will overcome. They will one day get there – if they don’t do one thing. And that one thing is: QUIT!

11. Motivational Tips From The Avengers

When you think about motivation you usually do not think about superheroes. However I was inspired by Marvel’s big hit movie The Avengers. The characters themselves were ones that made me think twice about what motivated me in my life. Here are some things they taught me:

12. 5 Essential Qualities For A Wealthy Life

There is an ancient proverb that states that: ‘When wisdom enters into your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul; discretion will preserve you and understanding shall keep you.’
When you combine both wisdom and knowledge you get common sense. But then add to that formula discretion.
Discretion consists of the ability to make sound and wise judgments for your own life.
This is one of the necessary ingredients for a life lived long and a life lived well; a preserved life that rides through the storms, weathers the winds of change and is kept in good shape as one pursues their dreams.
The old proverb tells us that in being discreet we will be preserved. That means that we will be sustained and that we will be kept or saved from harm or destruction.
In this day and age, where there is so much violence, it is something that is of major importance to those of us who have families.
But what are the characteristics of a discreet, successful and wealthy  life? What qualities must you develop and what habits must you adopt in order to be preserved from those things that threaten your success on a daily basis?

Motivational Tips for 2014... (Part 3)

7. 7 Habits Of Highly Motivated People

“When it’s time to die, let us not discover that we have never lived.” — Henry David Thoreau
If you know the habits of highly motivated people, you can try more things, start more ventures, get back up when you get knocked down, and inspire yourself and others to do great things.
Motivation is more than just finding your drive though.  It’s also understanding any limiting beliefs and internal conflicts that get in the way of bringing out your best.  And to truly motivate yourself for the long haul, you need the ability to inspire yourself.
My favourite definition of inspire is “to breathe life into.”  So, effective motivation is the ability to continuously breathe life into whatever you do.
But first, let’s do a level-set on what motivation is and why we care.

8. 4 Keys To Fulfilling Your Life’s Purpose

Strong people are those who have identified their strengths and use them on a daily basis to add value to their lives and to the lives of those around them.
Every one of us has ‘a strength’. And it is by tapping into that strength and by strengthening that strength that we can produce the most productive life possible.
There was a skinny little kid showing off to some of his little friends the muscles that were developing in his skinny forearm.
One of the bigger kids mocked him saying, ‘Hey Robbo, are you trying to break the record for the muscle that hangs down the lowest?’
All the kid’s laughed.
Unmoved, with the biggest possible voice that he could muster, he looked at all the kids eyeball to eyeball declaring, ‘My dad says that even though I may not have much muscle on the outside yet, I’ve got heaps of BIG muscles on the inside. And if I keep working out, one day every one of those muscles is going to pop out everywhere all over my body.’

9. How To Socialize Effectively Every Time

If you happen to be nervous and hesitant in social situations, then you realize how many opportunities for meeting and making friends you’ve missed out on. This article will help you stop this kind of pattern.
Just imagine how your life would be if you could talk to people whenever you wanted, and you knew how to hold interesting conversations, keep in touch, and make friends. How much more fulfilling life would be?
Don’t be trapped into thinking that having a great social life requires heavy social skills that only the most extroverted of us have been born with. It boils down to a set of strategies and mind-shifts that anyone can start using.

Motivational Tips for 2014... (Part 2)

4. 7 Tips For Increased Productivity At Work

“Don’t be afraid to give your best to what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves” – Dale Carnegie
Staying productive at work 100% of the time is easier said than done. It is not uncommon to feel uninspired due to repetitive tasks, too much routine, or unchallenging work. All of these can lead to periods of unproductiveness, and this is hard to combat. Motivation does not always come naturally, and it takes a conscious effort to remain focused and engaged at all times.

5. How To Empower Your Mind Through Reading

I am in love with my mind.
Why you may ask?
Because no matter how much I put into it, it never explodes. It is a reservoir that is always thirsty for fresh revelation and new insight. It is hungrier than a lion and more voracious than a tiger.
How hungry, you might say, can that be? I have a pile of books in my office waiting to be read.
In addition I have a notepad and a pen that I carry with me wherever I go to jot down those thoughts that fly into my head at any time.
My most precious possession you might ask?

6. 27 Motivation Hacks I Should Have Known Much Earlier

Ever felt the regret for not knowing something earlier?
I wasted many days of my life not knowing motivation is an incredibly strong force that can be used for lots of advantages.
Motivation can get you work done, get you stronger, get you smarter, and ultimately lead you to the path of your dreams.
If I were able to time travel, this is the page of advice I would give to my younger self.
Let’s see if you’ll benefit from it.

27 Daily Affirmations to Boost Self-Esteem and Develop Self-Confidence

If you look at any of your problem areas in your life, you'll probably find they are rooted in faulty and limited beliefs, imbedded deeply in our subconscious mind. Because they are in the subconscious mind, often you are not aware that they are the source of your thoughts and actions.
These negative and dis-empowering beliefs, are the reason our life does not work as well as we would like it to; they are the barriers and blockages that stop us from reaching our full potential.
We are re-programming our subconscious mind through daily repetitions of these affirmations, and remember that every new belief needs time and attention to flourish.
You can't do these affirmations for a few days and expect to get long-term results... you will have to imprint them daily; repeating and contemplating on each one for at least 5 minutes, for a period of one month or two. Anything less will not succeed.
Affirmations can be used for immediate, short-term results as well, when you want to influence and redirect the thoughts that occur in your conscious mind.
For example, in a situation where you are feeling stressed, tense or upset, you can repeat an affirmation such as, "I feel calm and relaxed. I feel calm and relaxed. I feel calm and relaxed" for a couple of minutes.
Since your conscious mind can only think one thought at a time, you are able to "fill" your mind with thoughts that support you or your goals. You can repeat these anywhere, whilst driving, loud or silently.
One thing to remember is that you don't necessarily have to believe your affirmations; all you have to do is repeat them.
You can choose to start with the ones that fit you best, and rotate them daily or weekly, whatever is appropriate for you.
Daily affirmations and declarations:
  1. I am unique. I feel good about being alive and being me.
  2. Life is fun and rewarding.
  3. Amazing opportunities exist for me in every aspect of my life.
  4. There are no such things as problems, only opportunities.
  5. I love challenges, they bring out the best in me.
  6. I replace "I must", "I should" and "I have to" with "I choose". (try it with something you think you have to do, and replace must with choose... notice the difference?)
  7. I choose to be happy right now. I love my life.
  8. I appreciate everything I have. I live in joy.
  9. I am courageous. I am willing to act in spite of any fear.
  10. I am positive and optimistic. I believe things will always work out for the best.
  11. It's easy to make friends. I attract positive and kind people into my life.
  12. It's easy to meet people. I create positive and supportive relationships.
  13. I am a powerful creator. I create the life I want.
  14. I am OK as I am. I accept and love myself.
  15. I am confident. I trust myself.
  16. I am successful right now.
  17. I am passionate. I am outrageously enthusiastic and inspire others.
  18. I am calm and peaceful.
  19. I have unlimited power at my disposal.
  20. I am optimistic. I believe things will always work out for the best.
  21. I am kind and loving. I am compassionate and truly care for others.
  22. I am focused and persistent. I will never quit.
  23. I am energetic and enthusiastic. Confidence is my second nature.
  24. I treat everyone with kindness and respect.
  25. I inhale confidence and exhale fear.
  26. I am flexible. I adapt to change quickly.
  27. I have integrity. I am totally reliable. I do what I say.

What Really Makes You Tick?" 10 Questions You Should Ask To Yourself: A Preparation To Self-Improvement

So we're all pelted with problems. Honestly it shouldn't even bother or even hinder us to becoming all we ought to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks… or can they?

1. What do I really want?

The question of the ages. So many things you want to do with your life and so little time to even go about during the day.

Find something that you are good at can help realize that small step towards improvement. Diligence is the key to know that it is worth it.

2. Should I really change?

Today's generation has taken another level of redefining 'self', or at least that's what the kids are saying. Having an army of teenage nieces and nephews has taught me that there are far worse things that they could have had than acne or maybe even promiscuity. So how does that fit into your lifestyle?

If history has taught us one thing, it's the life that we have gone through. Try to see if partying Seventies style wouldn't appeal to the younger generation, but dancing is part of partying. Watch them applaud after showing them how to really dance than break their bones in break-dancing.

3. What's the bright side in all of this?

With so much happening around us there seems to be no room for even considering that light at the end of the tunnel. We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. And if it's a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride and see what makes the world go round!

4. Am I comfortable with what I'm doing?

There's always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse, shirt and whatnot. It doesn't take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else we'll all be equally the same in everything we do. Variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions to be experimented.

5. Have I done enough for myself?

Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you'll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing.

6. Am I happy at where I am today?

It's an unfair question so let it be an answer! You love being a good and loving mom or dad to your kids, then take it up a notch! Your kids will love you forever. The same goes with everyday life!

7. Am I appealing to the opposite sex?

So maybe I don't have an answer to that, but that doesn't mean I can't try it, though. Whether you shape-up, change the way you wear your clothes or hair, or even your attitude towards people, you should always remember it will always be for your own benefit.

8. How much could I have?

I suppose in this case there is no such things on having things too much or too little, but it's more on how badly you really need it. I'd like to have lots of money, no denying that, but the question is that how much are you willing to work for it?

9. What motivates me?

What motivates you? It's an answer you have to find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make everyone happy, but to choose one of the may be the hardest part. It's not like you can't have one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that's it. Just try it piece by piece.

10. What Really Makes You Tick?

So? What really makes you tick? You can be just about anything you always wanted to be, but to realize that attaining something that may seem very difficult is already giving up before you even start that journey. Always remember, that self-improvement is not just about the physical or philosophical change you have to undergo, but it's something that you really want.

How To Improve Your Self-Esteem

How much do you like yourself? How valuable a person do you think you are? How competent do you think you are? The answers to these questions reflect your self esteem, the value you place on yourself. People who have self-esteem, for example, are going to communicate this throughout their verbal and non-verbal messages. So let's take a look at the various points on how to improve your self-esteem.

Firstly, to learn how to improve your self-esteem, observe the ways which people with have self-esteem phrase their ideas and questions or the way they hold their head and maintain eye contact. Chances are, it's likely to differ greatly from the way the person with low self-esteem would communicate. Similarly, people with different views of themselves will develop and maintain relationships with friends, lovers, and family differently.

Self-esteem is important, it is thought, because success breeds success. When you feel good about yourself - about who you are and what you're capable of doing - you will perform better. When you think like a success, you're more likely to act like a success. When you think you're a failure, you're more likely to act like a failure. Increasing self-esteem will, therefore, help you to function more effectively in school, in interpersonal relationships and in careers.

Here are a few tips on how to increase your self-esteem:

How to Increase Your Self-Esteem Tip #1: Secure affirmation

It's recommended that you remind yourself of your success- that you focus on your good acts; your good deeds; your positive qualities, strengths, and virtues; and your productive and meaningful relationships with friends, loved ones, and relatives. If you talk positively about yourself, you will come to feel more positive about yourself.

How to Increase Your Self-Esteem Tip #2: Seek out nourishing people

Nourishing people are extremely positive. They're optimists and they reward you and make you feel good about yourself. Here too, with time, you'll come to believe these compliments and positive statements; as a result, your self-esteem is likely to rise.

How to Increase Your Self-Esteem Tip #3: Work on projects that will result in success

Some people want to fail, or so it seems. Often, they select projects that will result in failure. Perhaps the projects are too large or too difficult. In any event, they're impossible. A more beneficial strategy is to select projects that will result in success. Each success helps build self-esteem. Each success makes the next success a little easier. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't dream big; only that in some cases you may be tempted to try the impossible and be hurt when you don't succeed.

When a project does fail, recognize that this doesn't mean that you're a failure. Everyone fails somewhere along the line. Failure is something that happens; it's not something inside you. Further, failing once does not mean that you will fail the next time. So put failure in perspective. Don't make it an excuse for not trying again.
