Mind Power: Achieve Happiness With Positive Thinking Tips

Being a negative thinker is very unhealthy as it lowers your self-esteem and bad for your morale. It drains your energy rapidly and causes you to lose focus. To stop being a negative thinker, you have to change your thoughts pattern.
1. The first tip to being positive is to look after your body and mind. To ensure that you are in a good shape, eat well, exercise regularly, sleep well and spend time with your family. A relaxed and healthy body is a natural attractant for positive energy.
2. Reject and delete any negative thoughts that flashed through your mind. Researchers found out that an average person has about 60 000 thoughts being flashed through his mind on a single day. Why should anyone cling onto a negative thought? Make a conscious decision, and do your best to rid of any negative thoughts.
3. Hug your loved ones. By hugging, it increases your self-esteem. It makes you feel comfortable and loved. Move past a cold and sturdy handshake, and hug someone you really love and care for.
4. Make sure that you surround yourself with happy, cheerful people. Avoid friends who think poorly of themselves. This way your mind will always pick up positive vibes.
5. On a piece of paper, write down all the things that you are happy and grateful for. They can be your friends, your colleagues and your family. After you are done with the writing, paste the list somewhere it is conspicuous so that you can see it everyday. This will remind you of all the things you are grateful for and not take the things you have now for granted. Most importantly, it keeps you happy too.
6. When met with arduous problems, be optimistic and say statements like "I can do this". Avoid any kind and form of negative statements as they can lower your self-confidence.
7. Be your own man. Don't be afraid to speak up. You will never gain in confidence if you constantly worry as to what the others will think of you. In fact, by staying quiet you may give wrong ideas to others about your skills, knowledge, abilities, etc.
8. Don't assume negative things. You should not tie yourself in knots if you are told that your boss wants to meet you. For all you know, your boss may have called you to express his appreciation for something you did.
9. Extend a helping hand to those in need. You can read a story to your neighbour's mother who is crippled and can't move; or you may go out and trim the garden of an orphanage on a weekend you are free. You will find that these small gestures have a wonderful way of generating positive energy. They make you feel warm, energetic and wanted.
10. There may be times when you find it impossible to get rid of negative thoughts. In such situations you should go out of your house for a walk or a jog. You can even go to the gym and do some light exercises. Such activity takes your mind off the negative thoughts.
If you follow these steps, you will find that your mind starts rejecting negative thoughts on its own.

10. 64 Inspirational Quotes To Change Your Life

Peter G. J. Sinclair CEO of Outasight Enterprises Pty Ltd – Those who TRY are not mediocre. They are champions. They will win. They will overcome. They will one day get there – if they don’t do one thing. And that one thing is: QUIT!

11. Motivational Tips From The Avengers

When you think about motivation you usually do not think about superheroes. However I was inspired by Marvel’s big hit movie The Avengers. The characters themselves were ones that made me think twice about what motivated me in my life. Here are some things they taught me:

12. 5 Essential Qualities For A Wealthy Life

There is an ancient proverb that states that: ‘When wisdom enters into your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul; discretion will preserve you and understanding shall keep you.’
When you combine both wisdom and knowledge you get common sense. But then add to that formula discretion.
Discretion consists of the ability to make sound and wise judgments for your own life.
This is one of the necessary ingredients for a life lived long and a life lived well; a preserved life that rides through the storms, weathers the winds of change and is kept in good shape as one pursues their dreams.
The old proverb tells us that in being discreet we will be preserved. That means that we will be sustained and that we will be kept or saved from harm or destruction.
In this day and age, where there is so much violence, it is something that is of major importance to those of us who have families.
But what are the characteristics of a discreet, successful and wealthy  life? What qualities must you develop and what habits must you adopt in order to be preserved from those things that threaten your success on a daily basis?

5 Simple And Effective Tips To Positive Thinking

Positive thinking is one of the most common topic people will talk about when it comes to living a quality life, being successful and achieving dreams. However, most people do not know how to practice the habit of positive thinking. And this is exactly what you are going to discover in this article.
Great people are able to achieve more in life and stay happy simply because they made thinking positive their habit. And you should learn to do this as well. Below are 5 simple and effective tips to practice the attitude of positive thinking...
1) Surround yourself with positive people
This is a very effective technique because whenever you get along with other positive people, their positive energy will affect and flow into you. If you mix with negative people, they will tell you things are tough, it is impossible to achieve your goals, they gossip about other people, etc. On the other hand, if you surround with positive people, they tend to encourage you, support you and give you constructive ideas.
2) Get close with nature
Yes, getting close to nature, as simple as taking a walk in the garden can make you feel better when you are down. If you like the sea, take a walk by the seaside and feel the warm breeze. You will feel refreshed and it can clear your mind. Thus, if you are stressed, feeling down, or feeling stuck, get close to nature, get yourself out of the problem and so you can see better from the outside.
3) Strive to improve yourself
Do you read self-improvement books? If you do not, you should start right now. Just grab a best seller in this topic and read it. If you want to stay positive in business and in life, you should constantly do something positive all the time. Commit to spend at least 30 minutes to read and improve yourself every day. If you follow through this principle, imagine what you can accomplish in after 5 years.
4) Keep moving forward
Yes, sometimes you may feel stuck or frustrated and just want to do nothing. However, sometimes you may also want to stop your thinking and just take action. The more you think about it the more doubts you will have. If you stay in the negative state, the more you think, the more likely you are going to dwell in the negativity, which is not going to help at all. Hence, just take action and move forward. You will build the momentum and create the positive thought in your mind.
5) Focus on your dreams and goals
No matter how tough the situation or how negative it is, focus on your dreams and your goals. Never forget the reason you set the goal or the purpose you start the journey in the first place. Your dreams and your goals are the fuel that will drive you to higher ground. Successful people are able to produce outstanding results because they never give up on their dreams. They know what they want to achieve and they keep moving forward even if others tell them that it is impossible to do it.

What is Positive Thinking?

What is positive thinking exactly? When you talk about someone with a positive mindset, you probably imagine this person to live a life of denial, covering up their true feelings and pretending that everything is fine even when everything appears to be doomed.

The truth is, positive thinking has nothing to do with denying your emotions or pretending that everything is great. It's about learning to adjust the way you think and feel about the events and experiences of your life, rather than letting the events which happen to you determine your mood.

Undoubtedly, it is crucial for you to understand what is positive thinking exactly if you wish to be in control of your emotions and success.

I believe many people would argue that it is difficult to stay positive always. As we encounter various setbacks in life, it's totally understandable that it's normal to feel down and even self-pitying. However, by being negative to all that happens to you is definitely not going to help things at all.

As Zig Ziglar said, 'It's not what happens to you that determine how far you will go in life; it is how you handle what happens to you.'

Hence, if you want positive things to happen to you, you've simply got to adopt a positive mindset all the time.

There is a simple rule that you should apply to your thinking in everything you do.

Think Positively and you will get positive results.

Think Negatively and you will get negative results.

There are bound to be many negative people whom you will meet in life. These people will forever be worrying about almost every single thing they can think of. Before a test, they will worry that it's going to be hard. When doing projects, they will worry about the deadline. They spend a huge amount of time worrying instead of sitting down and think of solutions to their problems.

Chances are, these people will fail to accomplish big things in life. This is because they spend their whole life worrying instead of working towards their goals. Whenever they face a little setback, they are extremely pessimistic and get discourage and end up quitting.

On the other hand, people who understand what is positive thinking remains optimistic even when faced with huge obstacles. This does not mean that they choose to ignore the problems. Rather, they face it with optimism and they understand that worrying is not going to help. Instead, they choose to focus their time on generating ideas to overcome any obstacles they face and work extremely hard towards their goals.

Such positive thinking individuals are also often well-liked by their peers. Ask yourself honestly, would you rather hang out with people who are perpetually complaining and worrying or would you want to hang out with people who are full of energy and optimism. Positive people are charismatic and people love to be friends with the. So be that person with the positive mindset too!

In conclusion, it's without a doubt that most, if not all successful people are extremely positive in their mindset. So now that you've understood what is positive thinking exactly, be sure to change your mindset and make a positive difference in both your own and others lives. Positive Thinking And Its Effect On Your Health

The first situation to consider is the relationship between thoughts and conditions like depression and stress. A crucial question is whether the person's thoughts are creating the physical depression or the physical depression is creating the negative thinking. When it comes to how you can use your mind to help, this can be accomplished consciously and subconsciously. When someone has a habit of imagining things turning out very badly, rational thinking can show show them that they often exaggerate. However, the unconscious mind is much more powerful in shaping our habitual behavior, oftentimes beyond our conscious control. Visualization and hypnosis can be very effective in modifying beliefs and, if you do this, the long-lasting effects can be more powerful than using logic only.

It is likewise true that positive thinking can have an impact on our physical health, and you may be aware of the placebo effect on people who feel ill. This is when individuals are given a pill which in reality does not have any healing value, and yet they claim to notice an improvement in how they feel. This is evidence of the connection between mind and body, and there are many examples of men and women with a positive outlook being able to recover faster from malady and injury. You can also use the power of your mind to help you in achieving your fitness goals. A historic example of this is when the four minute barrier for running the mile was broken, which had been considered as unachievable up to that point. Once the "barrier" had been broken, other runners also began to break through what had really been a barrier of belief.

The effects of aging are likewise influenced by how we think about the process. As you get older, do you talk to your friends about your "aches and pains" and your weakened capabilities? It seems there's a great deal of truth to the saying, "You're only as old as you think you are," and our thoughts can be used to undo a lot of the so-called effects of aging. Unfortunately, numerous individuals will continue to hold on to old beliefs about the unavoidable "decline" of health in old age, and not pay attention to the benefits of a positive outlook.
